Project homework: Example of a trouble-shooting audio guide for an assistive listening device

These are the references I used. The original manuals are hard to use because they are tri-lingual and the English is not the best translation. Although this User Guide is for the HDI 406, I used some drawings from the HDI 405 to illustrate the headset.  I used MS Paint and MS Word to key in all text except the part names.

The infrared transmission system of this Sennheiser audio solution allows you to prepare the signal for the hearing impaired. The signal is picked up directly by the stethoset headphones or by a bodypack receiver that is connected with a hearing loop, which then transfers the signal to a hearing aid.

We live near a radio transmitter, and that always is a problem when I use a device for the first time.  The radio station advises  reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropospheric_propagation ).

This trouble-shooting guide is not published by Sennheiser and I have used excerpts from the company's manuals under the Fair Use Exception to copyright law for non-commercial educational purposes.
